We're getting married!
We're so happy that you are making the trip to celebrate with us!
Where: The Congdon Residence - we'll message you with the exact address prior to the event.
When: 4:00pm
Casual dinner and drinks on the beautiful deck in Chris's parents' backyard up on the mountain.
Where: Lang Vineyards - 2943 Gammon Road in Naramata
When: 4:00pm
There is parking available along the fence outside the venue, but you are encouraged to take a taxi!
Ceremony with cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing to follow!
Cocktail/semi-formal attire is suggested.
The wedding is taking place at the guest house, not the wine shop. There will be a sign!
The reception is being catered by Brodo Kitchen. Both vegan and gluten-free diets will be accommodated, but please let me know if you require this so that there's enough for everyone!
There's no formal after party planned, but if we feel like keeping the party going, the bar at the Penticton Lakeside Resort is open late and has foosball tables and pinball!
Where: Dirty Laundry Vineyard - 7311 Fiske Street in Summerland
When: 11:00am
Join us for an early lunch at one of our favorite spots in the Okanagan.
As the 12th is Mothers' Day, and the restaurant expects to be busy, they've asked us to be as close to 11:00am as possible, and they have given us a section on the far side of the patio as you enter.

Welcome to wine country!
Kelowna is just over an hour from Penticton. It's a smaller airport, but there are multiple flights a day from mostly major Canadian airport hubs such as Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto. This is the airport we nearly always fly in and out of.
There is an airport in Penticton with a couple flights a day each from Vancouver and Calgary. It's a little more expensive and trickier to time with connections, but if the stars align, it'll put you 10-20 minutes from any hotel in Penticton or Naramata.
It's a beautiful five-hour drive on the Coquihalla Highway through the Cascade Mountains! Rent a car and take a scenic road trip.
For the ultimate scenic road trip, fly into Calgary and drive approximately nine hours to Penticton. It'll take you through Banff, Lake Louise, and Revelstoke.
Neither Uber nor Lyft operate in the area, but there are options! We also plan to arrange transportation to and from events where possible. More details to follow!
Naramata is a village of around 1000 people, but there are numerous guest houses, bed & breakfasts, and vacation rentals. If a hotel is more your style, Penticton has lots of options and is about 15 minutes from the wedding venue. It's also centrally located for all of the weekend's events.
If you want to stay where others are already staying, a number of guests are at the Penticton Lakeside Resort.
If you prefer the airbnb route, please note that British Columbia laws regarding vacation rentals are changing, so please double check to confirm your booking!
Vineyards everywhere!
If you find yourself with downtime, here are some of our favorite things to do:
Wine tasting is huge in the area, with dozens of wineries open for tasting. You can drop in on your own, or there are tours available that'll take you around. Depending on what area you are wine tasting in, these are some of our favorite spots (although you really can't go wrong popping into anything you drive by):
The S.S Sicamous is a historic stern wheeler from 1914 turned museum that used to travel daily up the lake. It's right on the beach in Penticton.
Loco Landing is a right next to the Sicamous and has mini golf, go-kart, a ropes course, and more!
Main Street in Penticton is full of charming shops, the best of which is The Bookshop!
If you're looking for something a little more adventurous, Zipzone up in Peachland has some of Canada's highest and longest ziplines!
If you need some more specific or personalized recommendations, don't hesitate to ask!
Can't wait to see you!
No need to mail us anything - just send one of us a text message by April 1 to let us know if you will be able to make it or not!
Please note that we know most of you have to travel quite a distance to join us. With this in mind, we are asking for no gifts. Your presence is truly all we want and we can't wait to see you!
Additionally, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about travel, hotels, what food we're serving, or just really want to make sure we play your favorite song.
